Casa SEAT is a multidisciplinary space in the heart of Barcelona, located on the corner of Passeig de Gràcia and Avenida Diagonal. It opened to the public on 23 April 2020 and is conceived as a hub for creativity, culture, and future mobility. The building, which formerly housed a Deutsche Bank office, was refurbished by architect Carlos Ferrater (OAB studio) and interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán. The renovation preserved the original volume while creating a permeable, contemporary design. The ground floor features a continuous curved façade with bronze screen-printed glazing, which has become a visual icon of the city. Inside, natural light is the main feature, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The coworking area itself is an open, shared space designed for professionals and students alike. It consists of two large tables with six workstations each, totaling twelve seats. The space is completely free and open to everyone, with no private meeting rooms available. Free Wi-Fi is provided (ask the staff for the password upon arrival), and you can enjoy beverages such as water, coffee, and juice, though eating is not permitted in the coworking zone. In addition to the coworking area, the building houses a restaurant, an auditorium, and exhibition spaces, and it is also home to the public library El Clot-Josep Benet. This mix of design, culture, and everyday public use gives the space its calm, creative atmosphere.
