Norai Raval is the café-restaurant located within the historic Maritime Museum of Barcelona, housed in the city's old Royal Shipyards (Drassanes Reials). The name "Norai" comes from the Catalan word for the iron ring on a dock where boats are tied, a nod to the museum's maritime theme. The space is managed by Singularis, a catering company with a strong social mission. The project focuses on training and integrating people from the Raval neighbourhood who are at risk of social exclusion, giving them professional experience in the hospitality sector. This adds a meaningful community layer to the dining experience. The restaurant itself is very spacious and full of natural light, thanks to its large windows and high ceilings. It has a daily lunch menu (from 13:00 to 16:00) that offers good value, with three options for each course, often featuring fresh fish and Mediterranean dishes. Outside of lunch hours, it functions as a café, making it a perfect spot to have a coffee while working on your laptop in a quiet and inspiring environment. There is also a peaceful terrace surrounded by vegetation, which is a great place to relax or take a break. It is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.
